As part of our effort to provide the best customer service possible, the Physics IT Group will be more diligent about enforcing our already-existing ticket system policy. What this means for you as a user is simply that if you require assistance, you will need to open a ticket first either by emailing help@phys.psu.edu or using the web interface located at http://helpdesk.phys.psu.edu. No work requests will be processed without a ticket. (Please do not ask the IT Staff to open a ticket on your behalf)
Web access to the helpdesk is available to everyone with a Physics Account, but you must request activation by emailing help@phys.psu.edu. With web access you can track and comment upon your own tickets.
