User Ids

Who can get one and what it gives you access to:

Accounts are available to faculty, staff, students, and visitors. All requests must be made or approved by a faculty or full-time staff member of the Physics Dept.

An @PHYS account will provide you with a Physics e-mail address, webspace, remote UNIX access, and the ability to use Dept. machines in 5, 114 & 215 Osmond as well as request a network connection for your own machine.

Complete and submit an account request form in 104 Davey Lab to receive an account.

How to change your password:

Go to https://root.phys.psu.edu/passwd.php and enter the required information.

Bring your Penn State photo ID to 237 Davey Lab. The Network Support Group can reset your password.
